Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Digital Media - Computational Intelligence
The MSc provides an excellent opportunity to develop the skills required for careers in some of the most dynamic fields in processing and analysis of big data extracted from multimedia, social networks, the web, the internet of things, without excluding complex adaptive systems of social life.
This programme builds on the internationally recognized research strengths of the Artificial Intelligence and Information Analysis Laboratory within the School of Informatics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.This research team conducts pioneering research in the required aforementioned fundamental disciplines and work areas. The laboratory is well equipped with first-class computational facilities and state-of-the-art measurement equipment, including multiple cameras, microphone arrays, motion capture magnetic sensors, brain interfaces, and drones. The MSc provides in-depth training in design, analysis, and management
skills relevant to the theory and practice of related industry.
Full-time: € 1800 (for the entire three-semester programme). At least 30% of the registered graduate students are entitled to a scholarship.
A degree (or an international equivalent) is required in computer science or electrical and computer engineering or a numerate
physical science discipline.
