International Workshop: "Migration and Asylum Policy vs Migrants’ and Refugees’ Claims of Justice in Greece”

We are pleased to inform you that within the framework of the European H2020 Program “IMAJINE” (http://imajine-project.eu/) we are organizing an International Workshop at the Harokopio University on 12 & 13 December 2019 on "Migration and Asylum" Policy vs Migrants 'and Refugees' Claims of Justice in Greece. ”This workshop is organized in partnership with Study in Greece and the Canadian Embassy.
The workshop is attended by representatives of public authorities on immigration and asylum policy, asylum, representatives of civil society, as well as several members of the wider academic community dealing with migration / refugee issues. The purpose of the conference is to bring policy and planning bodies closer to the academic and research community for the benefit of postgraduate students and doctoral candidates.
Particular emphasis is given to this special day in two special sessions involving (Greek and foreign) postgraduate students and doctoral candidates who will reflect on policy planning and implementation issues as well as on the contribution of researchers to meeting challenges policy failures.
